After many years of seeing how various grasses cope with the soil in central
Ohio, we decided to mix our own grass seed. With our experience, it is clear that Faler 3-Way
Fescue is the best type of seed for the soil in our area and is the best buy for your
dollar.
Faler 3-Way Fescue is a thin-bladed, deep-rooting grass. For this
reason, it does very well in the sun , as well as in the shade, is drought tolerant, and is less
susceptable to insect damage than bluegrass.
In addition to our Fescue blend, we also have annual and perennial rye grass,
bluegrass, and other various mixes.
